As a childcare provider, you play a crucial role in children's early development. Keeping each child on track with their growth and development is a key part of what you do. The Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ), a research-based developmental screening tool, can help you with this important task.
Enrolling in the ASQ Online system makes it easy to incorporate these screenings into your daily routine. ASQ Online tracks children's progress in important areas like communication, motor skills, problem-solving, and social interactions. Identifying potential developmental delays early ensures that children get the support they need, leading to better outcomes.
Using ASQ Online boosts the quality of care you provide and strengthens your partnership with parents. Sharing insights from these screenings helps parents understand their child's development and any areas needing attention. This unified approach supports each child's growth.
Joining ASQ Online shows your commitment to excellence in childcare. It demonstrates your dedication to using proven tools to support the well-being and future success of every child in your care. By prioritizing these screenings, you can make a meaningful impact on their lives, fostering healthy development and early learning.
Enroll in ASQ Online today and take an important step toward providing the best care and support for the children in your community.

Kansas has standardized developmental and social-emotional screening for children from birth to kindergarten using Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ). These parent-completed tools identify children at risk for developmental delays. With funding from the Preschool Development Grant – Renewal, Kansas now provides statewide access to ASQ Online, improving coordination and reaching more families. ASQ Online manages data and questionnaires, while ASQ Hub supports de-identified data reporting. ASQ Enterprise allows communities with multiple partners to create individual programs.
Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) manages an ASQ Enterprise account for school districts and accredited private schools, while local early intervention programs, known as Part C Networks or tiny-k Programs, serve as community ASQ Enterprise Account Administrators. Each community partner, or physical site, utilizes the ASQ Online system connected to the community ASQ Enterprise Account.
Step 1: Determine if you already have access to an ASQ Kit and locate its corresponding keycode or purchase an ASQ Starter Kit in the desired language. Ordering instructions can be found here.

Community partners interested in providing children's developmental screenings are encouraged to join a local ASQ Enterprise account. These partners include medical providers, health departments, mental health providers, child care facilities, home visiting programs, WIC offices, Part B providers, Early Childhood Block Grantees, Head Start, and Early Head Start programs.
Joining the local community ASQ Enterprise account is free; however, each site needs starter kits to administer the ASQ screening tools. Both the ASQ-3 and ASQ require separate starter kits. Existing kits can be used with their associated keycodes at no extra cost. English ASQ-3 and ASQ
starter kits are available at a discounted price of $265.00 each with a Kansas discount code. Programs serving 100 children or less can share a kit. For financial assistance, apply through Help Me Grow Kansas.
Programs joining a Community ASQ Enterprise account must complete an ASQ Enterprise User Agreement detailing their responsibilities. These include:
